Amy is a journalist, author, and former comedian as well as a recovering addict and alcoholic. A columnist for The Fix since 2012, her first book My Fair Junkie: A Memoir of Getting Dirty and Staying Clean received rave reviews from readers and critics alike.
Student first, teacher second, Dharamjeev is a heart centered woman who values the inner work that brings about an unshakable trust in one's self. Indigenous teachings, song and ceremony, Kundalini yoga and meditation are ways that she shows up to the path. Dharamjeev's soul purpose is to empower and hold loving space for others to come home to this place in themselves. She lives in a small ocean mountain town on Vancouver Island in Canada.
Sober since 2007, Chris is a national sober event producer, mental health advocate, and former licensed substance use counselor based in Austin, Texas. In 2017, Chris founded Sans Bar, the first sober bar in Texas which seeks to offer support to individuals across the sobriety spectrum.
Tammi is a mild-mannered insurance adjuster by day and a writer/blogger and yoga teacher the rest of the time. She focuses on the yoga of Karma which concerns itself with duty, right action and social justice. She is a recent empty-nester who lives in a rural mountain town in Southern California. Sober since 1996, Tammi is passionate about showing up for open-hearted, authentic living, and inspiring healthy meaningful connections.

Emily is the author of Highlight Real: Finding Honesty & Recovery Beyond the Filtered Life, and a Certified Professional Recovery Coach. Her recovery path is focused on ruthless honesty, grace, and self love. She's passionate about connecting women with resources for recovery from trauma, eating disorders, and substance abuse, and believes that sharing our truth with each other is the best resource of all. Emily lives in Seattle with her husband and their five children
Louise is still trying to decide what defines her and isn't afraid to say that she doesn’t know, or that she ever will. Sober since April 2009, she lives in the UK with her two children and has been building the foundation for what she calls Life v3.0. Having recently left the corporate world to write her long attempted novel, she joins the TLC team as an experienced recovery leader and mentor.

Sarah is a lifelong teacher, leader, and lover of dirt. When she’s not mentoring kids and adults in the school setting, you'll find her puttering around in her garden enjoying the unique thrill that comes from growing beautiful things. Sarah understands the blessings of community and the joy and power that can be found in telling the truth about our lives. She hopes to use the decades of experience in teaching and leading to be of service to others in recovery. She lives in rural Connecticut with her wife, step-son, and Maccabee, the Maine Coon rescue cat.
Becky is a writer, yoga teacher, speaker and change seeker on a mission to empower people to go after the life they dream of instead of settling for the ones they feel stuck in. A woman in long-term recovery, Becky leads yoga and empowerment workshops across the country, reminding fellow seekers of her motto: We all have choices; we just have to be brave enough to make them. She lives in St. Louis with her dog, three cats, four kids and very patient husband, and is working on her first book.
Mike B. is a semi-retired Chicago based beloved member of TLC with a passion for recovery, friendship, mentoring, and humor. With over 37 years of sobriety, Mike brings encouragement, hope, and compassionate wisdom to the community. He’s our resident golf pro who enjoys movies, reading, and spending time with his children and six grandchildren.
